About Me

Hey! I’m Alexis. Helping clients feel confident and making meaningful connections makes me happy! Sometimes it is not always how we look on the outside, and we just really need someone to talk to. That is truly why I enjoy doing both! I also love crafting, gift-giving, decorating, all things Disney, Halloween, puppies and supporting local businesses!

Education & Experience

I have been in the beauty industry for seven years now. I graduated from Paul Mitchell the School Raleigh. Since then, I have learned so much! I spent a year assisting a Vidal Sassoon educated salon owner and master stylist. I worked behind the chair in commission salons for five years. Continuing my education and keeping up with the latest techniques and trends are important to me. I am currently enrolled with Masters of Balayage, where I am learning all color techniques and how to build my business. In 2020 I decided to make the most significant leap of my life and open my own boutique salon! Now I can better serve my clients, be my own boss, recharge at home, and better my future!

My Salon

I want you to feel comfortable in my chair, and the only way I can truly be responsible for this is by creating a space I love! It’s like a second home that is a smaller environment where you can feel relaxed and safe with one on one interaction. I perform so much better in this boutique salon! I am looking forward to meeting more people like myself who like quality one on one connections!

Consultations

I am accepting new clients, and I offer complimentary consultations. First, you talk, and I listen. Then, I do your hair, or we plan for your future appointment! It seems simple, but so many people have told me, “my stylist gave me what they wanted, I don’t think he/ she was listening, I felt rushed or my experience wasn’t consistent each time.” If you’ve had a bad hair experience, it is my goal to change that. I can promise to try my best to meet your desired look as long as you trust me and the process! If you are unsure how you want your hair to look, we can discuss your lifestyle or hair history. By doing this, I can make recommendations that will be easiest for you. Your happiness and hair integrity are the utmost important things to me. I want you to feel like you’re coming to see a good friend but know that I will prioritize the purpose of your appointment!

Budget & Balayage

I want you to know if budget is a factor we can prepare a plan. We could gradually give you want little by little each time, or you could make an initial investment with a lower maintenance look for future cost factors. Balayage and root melts are perfect for this and gray blending! Face framing highlights can give you a pop around your face but can be more affordable than a partial or full.

Photoshoots

If you’re a future bride and want engagement photos, I am here for you for all the natural or glam makeup/ hair! I love a good theme, so styled shoots are fun for me as well.

Blondes

If your “hair goal” is to be platinum, we can create a plan to get you there! I always recommend Olaplex or Brazilian Bound Builder to prevent damage and lighten you throughout a few appointments. This is an add-on service but will ensure your hair stays healthy!

Men’s Cuts/Color

I might have “glam” in my salon name, but guys are welcome too! I like doing men’s cuts. I enjoy creating the shape and taking out the weight or texturizing to make your style easy to wear even without product! If you’re growing out your hair for the first time, we can discuss how to style. I color men’s hair, too. We can make it look natural and fade over time when your grays grow in, so no one even realizes you get it done!

Thick Hair Guests

I have a thick mane of my own, and I know how difficult it can be to maintain it or cut it. I like to take my time with these guests to ensure they receive enough weight out of their hair. I love the after results! Pricing varies based on time.
