I am Kunita. With a decade-long tenure behind the chair, I bring an artist’s intuition and technical mastery to every guest. I’m Aveda-trained, with advanced cutting education from Sassoon and Paul Mitchell—disciplines that shaped my approach to both precision and creative edge. My color work is grounded in Aveda’s specialized techniques, including freehand painting for natural, customized dimension. I’m Ouidad-certified, Cado-certified in curly cutting and color, and a brand educator for BBI. While curl expertise is a significant part of my craft, my chair welcomes every hair type—straight, wavy, curly, and coily. I design looks that honor face shape, bone structure, and undertones. I am an artist; hair is my medium. You bring the hair. I’ll take it from there.
