Maurice L. McClain is a highly accomplished professional with more than 30 years of experience in the hair and skincare industry. He is a USTI/AMCA Certified Trichologist and Educator, a Master Barber licensed in Illinois, a licensed esthetician, and a Clinical Massage Therapist. Maurice began his career at Cain’s Barber College in Chicago, where he excelled academically and served as president of his class, laying the foundation for a career rooted in leadership and service within the Hyde Park community.
Throughout his work as a barber stylist, Maurice developed a deep interest in skin and scalp health, recognizing the need for informed, effective solutions to common disorders. This led him to expand his expertise through advanced education at Douglas J. AVEDA Institute and Soma Institute of Clinical Massage Therapy, where he graduated as a top student. Today, Maurice takes a holistic approach to care, emphasizing the connection between lifestyle, internal health, and outward results. As both a practitioner and educator, he is dedicated to helping clients and communities locally and globally achieve healthier skin, scalp, and overall well-being.
