Understated with timeless elegance and sophistication with an edge are the characteristics of my vision. My goal is to balance facial features and personal style with lifestyle with the lowest possible maintenance. Disciplined training from industry icons such as Vidal Sassoon(featuring Tim Hartley & Annie Humphreys), Toni & Guy, Beth Minardi, Leland Hirsch, and Luis Licari in cities ranging from London, Toronto, Los Angeles, and finally, New York City were the core of my training. After a decade of education and fine-tuning the skills of my craft in my home state of North Carolina, I moved to New York City to personally assist hair fashion guru Garren of Garren NYC as an editorial freelance artist on photo shoots photographed by Steven Meisel for American and Italian Vogue during the supermodel era of Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington , Amber Valletta, Kristin McMenemy and Naomi Campbell. And then making my own trail specializing in the image making of celebrities, including a decade of working with Julianne Moore, Sandra Bullock, Ashley Judd, Jewel, Jessica Simpson, Dido, Rosario Dawson, Toni Collette, Sarah Jessica Parker, Charlize Theron, Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, James Iha, and many others for publications like American, Italian, and Uomo VOGUE, W, HARPERS BAZAAR, IN-STYLE, MARIE CLAIRE, and ALLURE were among the publications I regularly contributed to for image making.
