Kayla Reid

I have been in the beauty industry for more than 10 years. As a third generation cosmetologist, I spent countless hours in the salon with my mother and grandmother, as well as attended numerous beauty competitions and trade shows in Chicago.

I graduated from California’s Milan Institute of Cosmetology and from Judson University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. In 2014, I uprooted from the Chicago suburbs and moved to Greenville, SC. I quickly fell in love with this beautiful city and felt God’s leading to make it a permanent home.

With one foot in a salon and the other foot serving the autism community as a children’s behavior therapist, I contemplated what professional growth would look like in the beauty industry. I decided to train to become an eyelash artist. Shortly after starting my lash career, I was promoted to lead lash artist.

I truly enjoy the meticulousness and finesse that it takes to apply lash extensions. I highly value safety, sanitation, professionalism, proper lash application techniques, client education, and maintaining the integrity of the natural lashes.

Beyond providing quality lash extensions, I developed a strong desire to create an environment where guests could enjoy a genuinely peaceful and uplifting experience. In September 2019, that passion came to life when I took the leap of faith and opened K.R. Lash Loft!
