Studio 117 – Gina Mueller

Starting in high school, I had a passion for glam. I would spend endless evenings and weekends watching YouTube videos and practicing hair and makeup on myself. I, eventually, started working weddings my senior year of high school and that is what sparked me to go to cosmetology school.

During cosmetology school, I realized that I also wanted to pursue going to college as well. I worked hard to get my license in 9 months so that I could start university on time. While studying public relations at Texas Tech University, I also worked at a hair salon. Starting as an apprentice, I worked my way toward taking my own clients as well as managing other internships related to my degree. After graduating with my BA in Public Relations, I quickly realized the corporate life was not for me and went back to my creative passion full time. I have now been in the industry 10 years.

I specialize in blonding services and extensions, however I offer a full range of options for every client. I love that I have continued to keep many of my sorority sisters from college as clients to combine both of my worlds. Growing my career and continuing to do my own PR has shown to be incredibly fulfilling both creatively and intellectually. I am continually looking to grow, focus heavily on education, and keeping on trend.
