Zachary started doing hair at the age of 14, beginning in a retro salon where he did perms and roller sets after school. Upon graduation, he moved to NYC and secured a
position working with Beth Minardi and Sam Brocato on the Upper East Side. While working with Beth, Zachary was invited to the lab in Darien, CT, where he began helping
test and develop new hair color shades. During this time, he was asked to become a National Educator with Joico, becoming the youngest educator in the company at the
age of 18. Zachary traveled to different cities and salons, teaching and educating other stylists to improve their skills, even teaching inside the Pittsburgh Steelers Stadium to an audience of thousands of hairdressers.
By the age of 21, Zachary continued to assist with product development and testing for companies, which led him to move to LA. While in LA, he had the pleasure of working with celebrities including Tom Hanks, Sally Fields, Courtney Love, and Nikki Bella, as well as various models and TV broadcasters.
Eventually, Zachary headed back to NYC, where he worked between Manhattan and the Hamptons during the summer season. During the downtime of Covid, Zachary took the time to learn a new craft and started a wig company primarily for cancer and alopecia clients, known as Cranial Prosthesis. He found this to be one of the most rewarding jobs he had the pleasure of learning. Upon the success of the wigs, Zachary was contacted to supply wigs for Grammy-winning TV show contestants on RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Looking for a new venture, he moved down to South Florida, ready and excited to bring his style and the highest quality of hair to his new clients.
Opening Caché Petite, meaning “hidden small” in French, Zachary aims to offer an intimate setting that separates itself from the traditional salon experience, catering to the individual needs of each client.
