Why Image Studios Has Such A Diverse Group Of Beauty Professionals, And Why That’s Incredibly Important To Anyone Looking To Open Their Own Business In A Salon Suite

IMAGE Studios offers a unique opportunity for your business to grow and thrive. By setting up shop in one of our high-traffic salon suites, you’ll be in good company with a diverse group of beauty professionals, including estheticians, nail artists, makeup artists, massage therapists, eyebrow threaders, permanent makeup artists, and more. The mix of professionals provides valuable networking opportunities, allowing you to cross-promote your business and receive client referrals.

Our brand, IMAGE, is known for its attractive appearance, but it’s the community that sets us apart. Our professionals don’t just come for the Instagram-worthy decor, they come for the sense of belonging in a supportive, non-competitive environment. Here, the success of one professional is celebrated by all, and clients can be shared instead of feared. This collective mindset is unmatched in the salon industry and leads to a thriving community of entrepreneurs.

IMAGE Studios has the greatest amount of professional diversity compared to My Salon Suite and other competing brands in the salon suite industry. While most brands average around 80% hair stylists as their tenant base, and 20% estheticians, nail and lash artists, IMAGE Studios is much more diverse – across the country our salon suites attract a much broader array of beauty professionals, with hair stylists and barbers comprising of 50-55% of our total tenant base, and estheticians, nail and lash artists, along with medical esthetics professionals, permanent makeup artists, and other beauty professionals making up 45-50%. This tenant diversity is incredibly important and creates communities of beauty professionals that tend to be more networked and connected to each other because they can refer clients back and forth. When a salon suite is mostly hair professionals it makes it much harder to create a community and culture that encourages people to refer clients back and forth to each other. By simply opening a business at IMAGE Studios, a beauty professional has an opportunity to grow their business further by joining a community of other beauty specialists offering complimentary services.

Why IMAGE Studios is the #1 Choice for Nail Artists Looking to Open Their Own Nail Salon

If you’re a nail artist interested in starting your own business you’re likely weighing your options between booth rental, salon suite rental, or opening a traditional brick and mortar nail salon. However, booth rental is becoming less popular and opening a traditional salon can be incredibly expensive. Running a business with many moving parts also involves managing other artists and staff, managing profitability, and taking on risk.

Salon suites are a popular choice as they provide the independence of being a business owner without the stress and risk of managing employees. In the past decade over 2,000 salon suite locations have opened across the country to meet the growing demand for turnkey beauty suites.

When choosing a salon suite as a nail artist it’s important to select one that aligns with your level of expertise and experience. IMAGE Studios is the top choice for beauty professionals and hair stylists as it offers several benefits, including:

Cost savings: Renting a salon suite can be more cost-effective than renting a retail space in a strip mall or retail center, as you only pay for your own space instead of a larger rent payment. This is especially appealing for new businesses or those just starting out.

Flexibility: Salon suites typically offer shorter lease terms and IMAGE Studios also allows you to share a studio with another professional for added flexibility.

Building your brand: As a salon suite owner, you have complete control over your schedule, pricing, and services offered, allowing you to build a unique brand and clientele.

Business growth opportunities: IMAGE Studios offers a diverse mix of beauty professionals, including estheticians, nail and lash artists, makeup artists, massage therapists, eyebrow threaders, and more. This allows for networking and cross-referral opportunities for your business.

Access to amenities: Many salon suites come equipped with basic amenities like chairs and mirrors, and some may even offer additional amenities like a reception area or private bathroom for convenience.

A salon suite can be a great option for aspiring nail artists. It offers cost savings, flexibility, and the opportunity to build your own brand, as well as access to helpful amenities.

Everything You Need to Know Before Booking Your First Nail Appointment

Everything You Need to Know Before Your First Appointment

Getting your nails done is a great way to pamper yourself and add a touch of glamor to your look. But if you’re new to the world of nail art, it can be overwhelming to know what to expect at your first appointment with a nail artist. Here’s everything you need to know to prepare for your first visit.

Choose the Right Nail Artist
Just like with any beauty professional, it’s important to choose a nail artist who’s experienced and has a portfolio of work that you admire. Look for reviews online, ask friends for recommendations, and browse social media to find a nail artist whose style matches your taste.

Know Your Nail Shape and Style
Before you go to your appointment, decide on the shape and style of nails you want. Do you want a classic French manicure, trendy coffin-shaped nails, or something in between? Knowing what you want will help your nail artist create the perfect look for you.

Bring Inspiration Photos
If you have a specific design or color in mind, bring inspiration photos with you to your appointment. This will help your nail artist understand exactly what you want and create a look that’s tailored to your preferences.

Be Prepared for the Appointment
Make sure to arrive at your appointment with clean hands and nails. Avoid wearing any polish or fake nails, as these can make it harder for your nail artist to work on your nails. Additionally, it’s a good idea to avoid using the restroom during the appointment, as it can cause the nail artist to lose their momentum.

Understand the Process
Depending on the services you’re getting, your appointment with a nail artist can take anywhere from 30 minutes to a few hours. It’s important to understand the process and be patient as your nail artist works their magic. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to ask your nail artist.

Take Care of Your Nails
After your appointment, your nail artist will likely provide you with instructions on how to care for your nails to make them last as long as possible. Follow these instructions carefully and avoid activities that could damage your nails, such as using your nails as tools or soaking them in hot water for extended periods of time.

In summary, finding the right nail artist, knowing your nail shape and style, bringing inspiration photos, being prepared for the appointment, understanding the process, and taking care of your nails are all important factors to consider before your first appointment with a nail artist. With these tips in mind, you’ll be sure to leave your appointment feeling fabulous with beautiful, well-cared-for nails.
